I would love to be able to offer my users an RSS feed.

I would want to be able to configure the feed to display the fields I choose.

This would include date spans, latest ads etc....

Better yet, wouldn't it be great to allow my registered users to configure their own RSS feed.

I have no idea what you are saying, so here's a bunny with a waffle on it's head.

WWW

A RSS feed is no longer a luxury add on, it is a necessity!
The new IE browser will have a RSS reader, FireFox already does.   We need it now.

Look at all the "Partner Sites" that this site sends RSS feeds to:
http://equipmentsellersusa.com/searchresults.php
and it's just a used tractor site.

I subscribe to the RSS feed from ecusb.com.  RSS feeds are very useful for users and really help promote your site.

I agree.
I have been looking at different RSS  scripts that will generate RSS. I was able to create some RSS feeds through database. But I think having this as a module from esvon will make much easier for me, it should be flexible to have different feeds such as:

- General RSS for all the site
- RSS feed per section or type (Cars, Houses, etc.).
