Accessing the {user_field} fields from tpl files

Anyone know of a way to access a user field like "uf_phone" or "uf_fname" from the account_items, or any other template file?

Is there a list of ##variables## that are available to the template files? This would be very useful for me.

What are you trying to do?

You can acccess User fields under Fieldsets {user_fields} - click edit

I am trying to add the {user_field} ##variables## to the template file. Something like "uf_phone", or "uf_address", but the templates don't pick up on them by default it seems.
